Village Administrator for Edgerton, Ohio
Since 1977, Mr. Mathys has been the Village Administrator for
Edgerton, Ohio. His responsibilities include
electrical distribution, sanitary and storm sewers, water treatment, water distribution,
and street commission. Mr. Mathys helped
obtain grants for sanitary and storm sewers, fire, EMS, housing rehabilitation, USAG,
landscaping, and economic development. During
his military career, he served as the Weapon’s Officer for Marine Aircraft Group.
Mr. Mathys is active in community activities such
as the Edgerton United Way, Edgerton Salvation Army Unit, Rotary Club, William’s
County Mayors’ Association, Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Edgerton Community
Education Advisory Council Trustee, and the American Municipal Power Ohio.
He and his wife reside in Edgerton.

- Retired with the
rank of Captain after twenty years of service in the Marine Corps.
